There’s something aesthetically pleasing about an unfinished sketch. Sometimes a half drawing looks better than a full one. I’ve always liked taking pictures of the process so it’s time to inflict this urge on others!
With this one, I was going for a more sketchy, incomplete look so it kinda works? I did it all in pen without any pencil lines which is why there’s that smudge above his glasses frame where I realised I’d drawn it wrong and attempted to disguise it. Oops.
I was really hung up on this scene for a while because I pinpoint it as the exact moment I became obsessed with the show. Until this scene, I was enjoying it fine – but this moment is where Angela (on the left) and Mr Robot (the right), meet for the first time (that we know of). Their steady, yet distrusting reaction to each other made the two of them massively more interesting…
And I’m going to stop before I go on a tangent. I have a whole other blog for that.

Mixed media – began with just water colour paint, but I later added pen and markers to fill in some of the finer details. His feet are weird as hell.
